Casa De Oro
| Woodland Hills, CA
Private Residences
The expansion of Casa de Oro in Woodland Hills, CA evoked traditional Mediterranean
style. Envisioned as a home for family and entertaining, the expansion consisted
of a new master bedroom suite, gym, dining room, kitchen and an exterior dining
court.
The kitchen provides elegant vaulted ceilings, distressed cabinets, and sea
shell laced granite counters. Designed for a culinary chef, the layout provides also
for an eight burner range, dual under counter ovens, free standing freezer and refrigerator,
and warming drawers. The central island gathers the family each evening. Passing
between the kitchen and dining room, decorative iron grills secure wine racks with
in a natural cool masonry wall. The dining room is centrally focused with a large
fireplace and French doors leading to an exterior dining court.
With elegant touches including a single piece marble bathtub, a couples steam shower,
and a dry sauna; the master bathroom defines relaxation. The adjoining gym is bathed
in sunlight and opens to the pool, while creating privacy for the master bedroom. It is a sanctuary complete
with private pool access, fireplace, and breakfast nook.
