The Royal Palm
| Miami Beach, FL
Hospitality
The iconic Royal Palm Hotel in Miami Beach, home to the East Coast jet set, was
re-established as an art deco masterpiece during a full renovation and expansion.
Originally built in 1939, the Royal Palm had its hey-day with the likes of Elvis
Presley and Frank Sinatra. The four-story resort was part of the famed South Beach
Art Deco District of Miami Beach, a popular tourist destination between the 1940’s
and 1960’s. The renovation brought restored and modernized grandeur in the Miami
modern, (MiMo) style.
New construction of the project included two new modern high-rise towers, which,
along with two original buildings, created a multi-structure hotel of almost 400
rooms. Renovation also included architectural restoration on the two historic buildings,
as well new meeting rooms, a ballroom, restaurant and bar.
