The project, which was completed in 2019, is comprised of two buildings, providing 61 affordable homes for families, and offering a community lounge, lushly landscaped courtyards, and updated laundry rooms. The goal of this project was to implement suitability measures designed to reduce utility expenses and put the savings towards projects that will improve living conditions for the residents. The extensive energy and water efficiency measures that were completed are projects to reduce the site energy consumption by 54.5% at Florence Avenue Villas and 40% at Morehouse Apartments.
